Yes, we are currently accepting new patients for in-office sessions.
Please inquire if you would like for your child to receive services at their preschool or center. We maintain partnerships with the following preschools and centers to provide high quality speech and language services: Action Behavior Centers of Wake Forest, Little Oaks ABA Center, and Language Planet Montessori.

First, families can contact us by phone, HIPAA-compliant text, email, or by submitting an inquiry form on our website. For the quickest response, we recommend texting us or completing the online inquiry form.
Next, you’ll submit basic demographic information, including a copy of the front and back of your insurance card. We will verify your benefits and provide a Benefit Summary Sheet as a courtesy. We still encourage families to contact their insurance provider directly to confirm coverage for their specific plan.
Once the benefit summary has been reviewed, we will schedule an evaluation with one of our qualified therapists.
-
In most cases, a referral from your pediatrician is not required to begin speech or occupational therapy. However, some insurance plans do require a referral for coverage. We recommend checking your specific plan, and our team is happy to help verify whether a referral is needed before services begin.

An evaluation is designed to help us better understand your child’s strengths and areas of need. During the evaluation, the therapist will gather background information, observe your child through play-based or structured activities, and may use standardized or informal assessment tools appropriate for your child’s age and concerns. Caregivers are encouraged to share goals, concerns, and relevant history.
At the end of the evaluation, the therapist will review initial impressions, discuss recommendations, and explain whether therapy services are appropriate. A written evaluation report will follow, outlining findings and recommended next steps.
-
Every child’s therapy journey is different, and the length of therapy depends on several factors. These may include your child’s willingness and ability to participate during sessions, consistency in attending therapy, the presence of other developmental delays or diagnoses, and how often caregivers are able to practice recommended strategies or “homework” during the week. Our therapists regularly monitor progress and adjust goals as needed, working closely with families to ensure therapy supports meaningful, long-term success.
