If you do not have insurance or we are not in-network with your current insurance plan, we are pleased to offer private pay options for services. We set our fees in accordance with reasonable and customary rates for our region, based on ongoing market research. Rates are subject to change, and families will be notified in advance of any adjustments. We are committed to transparency and will always communicate clearly about any updates to our fee structure.
For families who prefer added flexibility and savings, we also provide package options. These packages allow you to purchase sessions in bulk at a discounted rate—making ongoing support more accessible and affordable. Contact us at admin@ccptnc.com to learn more about our current rates and available packages.
-
If Caring Connections is out-of-network with your insurance plan, we are happy to provide superbills for families who wish to seek reimbursement through their out-of-network benefits (if applicable). A superbill is a detailed receipt that includes all the necessary information your insurance company may require for processing claims.
Please note that families are ultimately responsible for all session fees at the time of service. As the out-of-network provider, our practice would not communicate directly with your insurance company or handle any claims on your behalf. We recommend contacting your insurance provider in advance to understand your out-of-network coverage and reimbursement procedures.
-
Caring Connections is an approved provider with the North Carolina Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). North Carolina’s Education Student Accounts (ESA+) scholarship provides funds for North Carolina families that can be used to pay for education and other support services for children with disabilities.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes, we are currently accepting new patients for in-office sessions. Please inquire if you would like for your child to receive services at their preschool or center.
-
Every child’s therapy journey is different, and the length of therapy depends on several factors. These may include your child’s willingness and ability to participate during sessions, consistency in attending therapy, the presence of other developmental delays or diagnoses, and how often caregivers are able to practice recommended strategies or “homework” during the week. Our therapists regularly monitor progress and adjust goals as needed, working closely with families to ensure therapy supports meaningful, long-term success.
-
In most cases, a referral from your pediatrician is not required to begin speech or occupational therapy. However, some insurance plans do require a referral for coverage. We recommend checking your specific plan, and our team is happy to help verify whether a referral is needed before services begin.

Attendance and participation in therapy along with compliance with any associated home programs, are essential for therapeutic success. While Caring Connections Pediatric Therapy PLLC understands that illnesses and emergencies occur, we respectfully request that you avoid frequent cancellations or "no shows". Please adhere to our following policy regarding providing our office with advance notification for any cancellations resulting from a conflicting appointment, vacation, obligations for work or family, or any other event.
All cancellations must be submitted at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment.
A fee of $25 may be assessed if the following occurs. This fee will be billed directly to the client and not their health insurance company, as medical insurance does not provide coverage for missed sessions.
If cancellations are made less than the required 24 hours for any reason other than significant illness or an emergency.
If the client fails to show up for a scheduled appointment.
If you reschedule / are late for 20% of scheduled appointments within 30 days, the office will reserve the right to discharge the client. Additionally, if you arrive late for a scheduled appointment, the session will still end at the scheduled time or may be cancelled.
If you fail to appear for an appointment (no show) without providing the appropriate advance notification for 3 consecutive appointments, the office will reserve the right to cancel all pending appointments and to no longer offer services to you as a client.
